Support For Home Learning

Learning from the last lockdown, we have made use of Microsoft Teams as our primary source of home learning. We will be working through Teams whenever possible and will endeavour to provide your children with lots of home learning.

In addition to our home learning schedule via Teams, we have also compiled a list of useful websites for home learning below. We recognise that home learning can be challenging and many factors can have an impact on this. So, with that in mind, we hope the options we provide for home learning help to ease some of the pressure. There is no right or wrong answer and please remember that school will be here to support you in whatever approach you decide to take.

In the time between now and regular schooling resuming, please stay safe. We will keep you updated as things change.

All children across the school have access to the following websites to help with home learning. The children know their logins (and these are written in the back of their planner just in case) or they have been emailed to you. If children are without a login, or have forgotten it, please contact your class teacher using the email addresses below and we will get back to you.

Click here to go to Times Table Rock Stars.

Click here to go to Spelling Shed.

Click here to go to Rising Stars.

Click here to go to 10Ticks.

The following is a list of the teacher's e mail adresses. If you have any queries about work or suitable activities please contact your child's class teacher and they will get back to you as soon as possible.

Mr Bell: belll@middleton.eriding.net

Mrs Bryan Smith: smithj@beswick.eriding.net

Miss Burgess: burgessp@middleton.eriding.net

Miss Ramsden: ramsdenp@middleton.eriding.net

Please do not contact the class teacher to ask questions about when the school will re-open or for general queries about other issues aside from work. Any issues of this nature, please contact Mrs Harros on middleton.head@eastriding.gov.uk as these will not be replied to by class teachers.

Finally, the resources and suggestions found on this page will be constantly evolving as time goes on. Please check back regularly to find new suggestions and downloads to help support learning at home.
